My friend (and fellow blogger) Samantha Dempster has been telling me for months… MONTHS!… about a new(er) clothing store in West Vancouver called Ami. Her list of reasons why I “needed” to check out the store was long. And I absolutely see why now, after going in to Ami for the first time myself recently. Now I get to share some amazing Spring Fashion with you from Ami Boutique.
For me, the easiest way to dress up denim is to wear a delicate blouse. A blouse with an amazing print makes it even better! I fell in love with this Zadig & Voltaire blouse and many of the other Zadig pieces at Ami. Spring is still chilly in Vancouver, so long-sleeved blouses will be a staple in my closet (as per usual).
The decor inside Ami Boutique makes it feel like you walked straight into an L.A. boutique, complete with hard-to-find brands and a Palm Springs feel. For many reasons, I loved the shopping experience at Ami but, of the most notable, I would have to say that the staff there are immediately welcoming and totally helpful the entire time I was ogling all the incredible clothing and accessories. I could spend hours in Ami. (Oh wait, I did- oops).
As a busy mom, who likes to feel ‘put together’ at all times (you have never nor will you ever see me doing school drop- off in my pjs), a simple, crisp white button down shirt with some high-waisted denim is such a great way to pull off a polished look. You can dress this down (throw on some white sneakers and a top-knot) or dress it up (add some heels and some fun earrings) and you are good to go. This is such a classic look and one that everyone needs in their wardrobe for Spring. Ami Boutique has you covered!
Whether you’re looking for casual options, outfits for work or the perfect dress for wedding season, you need to check out Ami Boutique. I love that they carry brands that no one else in Vancouver carries because it’s always so much fun wearing something that you know no one else will have! Now that I have given away Vancouver’s ultimate secret, get to Ami and then let me know what gems you found. 🙂
