It’s that time of year. COACHELLA!!!… and all the other amazing festivals that will be happening as summer rolls around. The countdown to Weekend 1 is on (and I’m counting down to Weekend 2- as that’s when I’ll be there) and we’re all wondering what styles we’ll see surfacing this year, if we’re not thinking about what we’ll be wearing ourselves! I thought this would be a timely post for some Coachella makeup inspiration.
I am not a big makeup wearer, as you may have noticed, but I LOVE the idea of doing something different for Coachella. So, I reached out to my friend and makeup artist, Vanessa- of V by Vanessa Jane- to help create a look I can easily replicate once I get down to the desert for the much-anticipated music in festival Palm Springs, one of my favourite places to travel to!
As I said, I don’t wear tons of makeup, especially eye makeup (I still don’t own an eyeshadow!), so I asked Vanessa for a fun but classy look and this is what she created! Once you have applied your moisturizer, foundation and bronzer/powder as a base this eye look is super quick and easy. Here’s how to get this look, which I we really think you’ll love as much as we do!
Psst! The secret ingredient is the star glitter from MAC. So, you can use the face, lips and eye looks that we outlined (below) or you can go straight for the stars! 😉
