Another year, another Coachella wrapped. Every year that I attend Coachella, I tell myself: “I think this is my last year”. Then the lineup comes out in January and my whole being shouts: Oh my goodness, I NEED to go!
There’s so much to love about Coachella. The amazing musical talent is of course top of the list, but there’s so much to compliment the open-air tunes. The art installations, the desert sunshine, all the happy people and, OF COURSE, the Coachella fashion!
I have to say that I am, for the most part, a fairly ‘tame’ Coachella-dresser. If you’ve been to Coachella (or you follow any Coachella-focussed Instagram accounts) you have likely seen some UN-BE-LIE-VABLE outfits. Coachellian’s wear everything from full-blown unicorn onesies (tails included) to … next-to-nothing. It’s honestly the best people-watching ever!
There’s a good chance my outfit choices for Coachella are a little more ‘conservative’, but that’s the fun thing about personal style- everything is up to your own interpretation, right?! 😉 I’ve been spinning lots and have been taking care of my skin, which made wearing warm-weather ensembles more fun. It always helps to feel good in what you’re wearing, ya know? Anyhoo, I thought it would be fun to show you all the 3 outfits I wore for the festival this year, so here we go…
Outfit details: Romper- Ale by Alessandra from Revolve, Boots- Guess (similar-ON SALE!), Bag- Nasty Gal (similar), Feather necklace- Blue Ruby (similar), Sunglasses- Topshop, Hat- Nordstrom Rack (similar)
We were lucky to have a couple of extra days in Palm Springs, of which we spent exclusively poolside to stay cool in the hot desert heat. I wore nothing but bikinis, cover-ups and lightweight sundresses. Here are a couple of my fave resort pieces.
Did anyone go to Coachella this year? Is anyone planning on going to any other festivals this summer?
