It’s HERE! It’s the first day of summer and the weather reflects this change in seasons. The sun is finally shining and it is expected to stick around! You know what that means, right?
It’s time to break out those summer wardrobes. Officially!
Summer wardrobes for me revolve around not only sundresses but also white pants. White pants give that light, summery feel while offering so much opportunity for variation in your look. A single pair of white pants can be very versatile and I have teamed up with Twist Fashions in Vancouver to show you all sorts of ways to wear yours.
Keep reading to see how I styled the same pair of white pants 5 different ways. That’s a great investment in a pair of pants that will go a long way. The Sanctuary Robbie High Rise Denim pants in this post are just $149. (Shop them here!)

The beautiful thing about white is that every colour and pattern out there can be paired with white. Including WHITE. For a nice crisp summer look, I paired my white pants with a longer white button down shirt. To add some depth to the all-white look, I chose a shirt that had some interesting details on the sleeves which the eye is drawn to immediately.
While the all-white look is a beautiful one, some of us are running around with kids most of the summer. (Hi!) I find that keeping with the white bottoms, but throwing on some colour up top, I’m a little less hesitant to throw the collection of bags I’m always leaving the house with over my shoulders. Being summery doesn’t have to be scary, you guys.
As much as I love white, I also love colour. I always drool over those fashion blogger Instagram feeds that are all monochromatic and I have come to accept that no matter how much I love that aesthetic, it’s just not me. Pops of pinks and other bright colours excite me.
In a battle for first place between all-white and colour, this light and airy blouse is the happy medium, if you ask me.
I don’t know about you, but I plan on spending LOTS of time at the beach this summer. Keeping with the white pants trend, but bringing the level of casual up a bit, a cute little graphic tank or tee is a great go-to when it comes to styling your white bottoms.
Taking these same white Sanctuary denim from daytime with the kidlets to drinks on the patio with the girls, throwing on a pair of heels, a flowy blouse and a hot bomber jacket is an outfit that will never disappoint.
This Sanctuary Lily Bomber ($189) should be a summer staple in every fashionistas closet, in my humble opinion ;).
I hope this post inspires you to say YES to the white pants this summer!
Happy sunshine, everyone! Don’t forget to let your true colours shine through 😉
